Covent Garden in Black and White: Olympus Trip film 020.

I took these after I had been around Trafalgar square, Covent garden was very quite compared to other  Wednesday's that I had been there, which made it nice  to take some photos.

This is the fist time I have used the Ilford Delta 400 film. I found it quite nice, It has a smooth grain but not as much contrast as the HP5. I feel like it adds a depth to the photo which I haven't really got using the FP4, HP5 or the Lomography 100. Definitely going to being using this film again.

Trafalgar Square Wednesday 16th October 2019

I took these on the Wednesday16th October 2019 in Trafalgar Square. For about a week before the Extinction Rebellion  had been been gathering and protesting. I hadn't realised that they were still gathering there when I went there.
My plain was to do some street photography and architectural photography round Soho and Covent garden, but instead I ended up staying around Trafalgar Square and shooting pretty much an entire film.
Considering the amount of people there I expected the atmosphere to be more alive then it was. Police vans lined up out side the National Gallery and in front of Trafalgar Square in Charing Cross Road, as there had been problems days before. (But lets not get political here, This is about film photography)

St Mary Magdalene Church, Holloway Road, Islington, London. (Built in 1814)
Taken with Lomography Red scale 35mm film, with an Kodak Retinette 1A. at 125iso .
I like the orange and red tones in the picture and how the greens have been made more brown.

Covent Garden Mirrors: Olympus Trim Film 007

Film: Ilford FP4 125 ISO, 35mm
Camera: Olympus Trip 35.
Year: 2016
Location: Covent Garden, London

During 2016 Part of Covent garden Market was dress in mirrors. Partly as they were having work done and as an art installation. The mirrors created a great place to take street photos of people with out them noticing that they are being photographed.
I also have some colour photos in film and digital, which I will post.
